The Aim of the NDIS is to support a better life for Australians living with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. NDIS’ priority is to ensure that those with a disability continue to get the support they need.
To be eligible for the NDIS you must be an Australian citizen or hold a Permanent or a Special Category visa, be aged between 7 and 65 and have a permanent and significant disability. NDIS funding is provided directly to the individual.
